Bruce Moore returns to the lineup. Hopefully his shot has returned while he was out. Players need to play better and coaches need to coach better or this could be a disastrous loss.

Does Meeks participate in the team’s nutrition and strength training program? To the naked eye, it seems he could lose weight and add muscle. I recognize that simply may not be his build.

Good to see a lot more drives to the basket in the first half, but being fair the HC defense doesn't look anywhere close to Navy's.

Good to see Funk and Toomer bounce back with much better games.

We benefitted from better players today and a lot of missed shots by Holy Cross. None of the previous mentioned issues with the team went away today.

I thought it was good to see Rice take scoring initiative today. And Meeks can flat out fill it up. He’s often a liability in other other phases of the game but he can score as well as any Bison in recent memory.

Any win is a good win. So I am happy for the win. Also glad to see the team didn’t go crazy shooting the 3. On a different note does anyone know who the recruit was at the game? I saw a kid about 6-9 walking around before and after the game.

I can confirm the recruit was not me. As for the game, I like we did not depend so much on the 3 today and got some inside baskets. I wish we did more of that versus Navy, we would be 4-0 now. HC has a few talented players but they turned the ball over a ton and didn’t play the best defense. Not a great barometer to tell how our team improved, but I am happy with a win. I think Rice is a different player these past three games. I’d like to see Paul play with more fire and attitude.

OK, I'll admit it. The recruit was me!

Good to see the Bison move the ball. That being said, HC is not a good team. This should have been a 30 point game with subs playing the last 10 min.

Regarding Meek's build, "Husky"colonial, are you speaking from experience?
New season, new team, new dream . . .

Didn't see the recruit. Any description other than the height?

As of now, Bucknell only has one known outstanding scholarship offer - to 6-9 PF Graham Ike from Colorado. I doubt the recruit you saw is Ike, but he didn't commit in the early signing period despite having a lot of good offers. Unfortunately he suffered a knee injury in his second HS game that will keep him out for the year, although it is not overly serious: partial tears of the LCL and MCL - no ACL damage.

Here is an article and picture of Ike: https://sentinelcolorado.com/sports/preps/boys-bas ...

137 He look to me like maybe a sophomore or junior in High school. He was white with dark brown hair. He was with his father I believe as they were taking a few pictures and then disappeared during pregame warmups. I saw Meehan wave to them.

Barring injury I suspect the smaller lineup to start is now set. Personally, I think it’s the correct decision.
