Per Bucknell's season preview:
"The Patriot League Tournament will consist of just eight teams this year instead of the normal full field of 10. The three division winners will be seeded 1-3, the division runners-up will be seeded 4-6, and the next best remaining records will be seeded 7 and 8."
Are division winners determined only by the results against division members (a la NFC East)? Versus ranking the division by overall records. Assuming it's the former.

Division winners and runners-up are determined by their overall record against all patriot league opponents. Not just the record against teams in their own division. As an aside, that is how the NFC East results are calculated as well.
The first tiebreaker, if that is necessary, will be head-to-head records. Second tiebreaker is record against common opponents.

Oops, embarrassed by my mental lapse with the football comparison. Thanks for spelling out the rules.

Copying this from another thread for easier reference later:
Fans need to remember, however, that if the Bison can amass a better division record than Lehigh in the 8 games with LC and LU, then overall record only counts towards where the team is seeded. If they finish behind LC but ahead of LU in the 8 division games, then their overall seed would be either 4, 5, or 6 - even if they have the 8th or 9th best record.
