Is Deuce the highest rated recruit in Bison history? Or Andrew Screen? I’m referring to the consensus of the most credible recruiting ranking organizations.

Enoch Andoh might actually be in this regard.

Based on ranking services, Andoh would have an edge over those two. Also higher: Cam Ayers, Todd O'Brien, and Nana Foulland. Those three also probably had the top offer lists - which is more meaningful than any ranking organizations.

That list sounds right to me. I forgot about Cam until you mentioned him.

I don’t think we ever would have gotten JR Holden in today’s NCAA.

Perhaps not. We'll never know. But don't forget that JR was not highly recruited. Pat landed him using need-based aid. He played sparingly as a freshman and didn't start until he was a junior.

Has he landed anywhere yet? Fall semesters start in less than 3 months.

Also on the same general topic: how many players are still left in the transfer portal with no home yet?

Crazy, crazy times. Revolving door of players across all divisions.

I've been checking Twitter regularly, and there hasn't been a peep since the first week of April, when he was said to have interest from New Mexico Junior College, La Salle, Bryant, Mount St Mary’s, Illinois Chicago, Robert Morris and Niagara.

We are not New Mexico Junior College. That is true. But then again, their head coach isn’t Nathan Davis.

In related news, isn’t he do for a contact extension?

Wouldn't read too much into this re: Deuce possibly returning next year, but looks like he's working out with Andrew Funk based on a video that was posted earlier today.

“So might he stay”?

So let me understand this…not one single coach in all of D1 is interested in Deuce? According to this board this was a monumental loss for Bucknell!!!

356 coaches and they are all as stupid as N Davis…it’s hard to believe

I have thought for a few months that Deuce may have run into academic issues. This move increases the probability imo.

All I'll say is maybe let's lay off speculation on a kid who recently publicized he's been dealing with depression for years including a recent life changing / life threatening event.

Hilarious we got off the basketball evaluation really quick here and turning the discussion towards academics and mental health.

An evolved discussion would have centered not on his transferring but on the issue of why he was offered to begin with. Despite his deficiencies:

1. Poor Attitude
2. Passing interest in actually defending
3. Bad stewardship of the ball for a PG
4. Shot selection/lack of range
5. Didn’t make any teammates better
6. Lack of grit & intensity

he actually could have developed at Buck and had a productive career if he wasn’t so one-dimensional and self centered. Talented scorer. Another case of too little maturity vs outside people/family talking in your ear.

Poor, poor decision making…gives up a Bucknell and good college basketball experience to average 36 at SPCC.

Old Bison I think you need to delete your post. It’s inappropriate. Dismissing depression and suicidal thoughts is appalling.
