This is a big game, since the bison are underdogs for the next 10 games after this one.

This is going to be a chippy game between two teams struggling to boost their W column. Timmerman is playing well and we have a savvy team that works well together. I think we are going to play smart, smooth ball and beat a tough Siena team. Hopefully at the end of the game Birdsong is singing the praises of the team and everyone can stop piling on. Its still November and this team can still show us it can compete with nearly anyone.

Full marks to the Siena player who tried to take a charge on Timmerman with a full head of steam.
Screen potentially being back by Wednesday is the best news from a so-so 1st half.

OK, since no one else seems to want to bring this up, the Bison won.
The quality of the broadcast is at an all-time high, as is the broadcast team. A restrained Doug is surprisingly competent.
I apologize for bringing up any positives.

Agree, although I am not surprised. When he was paired with Terry Conrad a decade ago, the two did a good job. Terry is very knowledgeable and seems to keep Doug under control. Ed Sigl couldn’t do that.

As I said before, Timmerman is made for Mid-Major opponents. What an incredible frontcourt we'll have when Screen comes back

Yes, Doug is much better with a partner and this paring is not bad. But I do have to chuckle at Terry mispronouncing half of the player's names, including calling Edmonds "Andoh" for a full 5 minutes without Doug correcting him.

Very encouraging for them to win a game with Funk and Rice not shooting well. Timmerman has done a great job filling in for Screen.

Screen and Timmerman need to be on the floor together.

Two poor shooting teams today but nice to see Bucknell get the W. The turnover at the end of regulation was almost a killer again. Timmerman’s performance has been out of nowhere. I won’t spend my time doing so, but I do not recall people on this board singing his praises in any way the previous two seasons or even going into this season. I think we are all surprised in a positive way.

I thought Timmerman was a wasted scholarship. I’m happy to eat crow and I’m happy that his dedication to keeping his weight down and being fit is paying off for him.

Yea, he has been great. No Bison has had back-to-back double doubles since Sestina. It’s a bit sad he wasted two years while carrying 35+ pounds of extra weight.

Speaking of Sestina, any updates on what he has been up to? Feel free to answer this in a different thread.

And Timmerman gets a well-deserved patriot league player of the week award.

Timmerman playing 34 minutes without a foul yesterday was impressive and very much needed.

Good point. Rhodes was the only other player who could’ve played Center, and he is really not well-suited for that position. Timmerman is very disciplined as far as not ever leaving his feet for a head fake.
