This is probably a question for mrjames. I am curious what, if anything, the high NERR ranks for Ivy recruits (at least at this point, before senior year has gotten going) this year mean.

To put it in historical context, the Ivies have gotten 7 top 20 NERR players since 2010: zena, Mason, Johnson, AJ, Kirkwood, Wright, and Ledlum. Right now, the league has 5 of the top 20 for 2021, plus #22. So we basically have about as many top 20 kids coming in just next year as we had for the last 11 years combined. Only once in that decade plus did the league ever get two top 20 kids in the same year.

Does that indicate a good recruiting year in 2021 for the Ivies? A bad year for New England? A trend? Or will these guys drop later in the year as other kids commit to high majors? So far, these guys have just continued to move up as the Ivy commitments have become known.
