Great story that takes me back to the heyday of IL basketball. The rivalry between Penn and Princeton has always been special but there was a period of time that the rivalry was at its' height. Penn simply had great teams for so many years. So many future coaches on the floor and bench that achieved some level of success.
Although Princeton BB has been uneven over the past few years, beating the Quakers is always special.
It is obviously disappointing that no IL player will enjoy the experience of playing at the Big Dance this year. Unfortunate, as Mitch, Gabe and Sydney will never forget the experience of playing against UCLA for the rest of their lives. ADs' should ask Robin and IL Presidents to watch.
