Brown will be playing in the 2021 Paradise Jam in St. Thomas this season November 19-22. First round game against Creighton on the 19th

Decent combination of upper tier road games and more winnable games mostly in Néw England locales. I see that much of the traditional Friday/Saturday Ivy weekends is no longer, except for 2 late in season. Missing again is long-time traditional game vs Providence. Seems Ed Cooley may be reluctant to take on the challenge of Mike Martina’ improving cross-city program. No idea of how the now 20 man roster will gell. Essentially two freshman classes this season. There should be optimism with the level of athleticism, talent, and size in this group.

I was surprised to see such a strong schedule, especially considering the question marks in the backcourt. Definitely a lot of promising talent there, but not a lot of D-I experience - beyond Friday, Cowan and Wojcik - and a lot of quality minutes to account for, sans Anderson and Hunsaker. Mike obviously knows more about the squad than I do, so if he thinks they're ready for the challenge, I believe him.
By my count, the Bears will play at least 6 teams that finished last season in Kenpom's Top 150, including three in a row leading into Ivy play, so they'll be nothing if not battle tested by that point. I've given up hope on seeing Providence on the schedule anytime soon, but I've enjoyed recent games against Bryant and Jared Grasso seems to be doing good things there, so I'm looking forward to this year's meeting.
