This game is much too close for comfort as Columbia is up by only six points over Dartmouth at halftime. The 14-4, 5-0 Lions are playing poorly against the 1-16, 0-6 Big Green and would be behind except for the brilliant play of Kaitlyn Davis. The usually steady point guard, Carly Rivera, is having a miserable game and the Lions are simply not executing very well on both offense and defense.

Columbia Women lead Dart 32-26 at Halftim 01-29-22 05:11 PM - Post#334637

Coach Megan Griffith does it again as she pushes all the right buttons at halftime, and is rewarded with another outstanding second half performance by her players resulting this time in a 65-46 victory over Dartmouth. Of course there are some fans who think it's all about execution by the players and coaching does not matter(e.g. Engles apologists), but Lion women basketball fans know that's not the case. In the specific case of 2021-2022 Columbia Women's Basketball, what we have seen throughout the first 18 games of this winning season, is how a very good coach sees what happening on the court and makes all the necessary adjustments to get another "W" for her basketball team.

Not only did Coach K not know which buttons to push as Duke lost a big lead to OSU, but the Cornell coach in today's game vs Brown, as his lead went from 20 to 0 (zero), but won a on a last-second layup by 2.
