Bison Game Article: https://bucknellbison.com/news/2020/1/30/mens-b ask... Pomeroy has the Bison as a one-point underdog - which is the first time they haven't been favored in a home PL game in over a decade. I think they may have been a slight underdog in 2010 - CJ's freshman year. If not that game, then the previous year vs American for sure.

Makes sense...this is not the Bucknell we’ve come to know. |

We got killed in transition and in the paint at Army. These guys are much more balanced than Army. Shot selection in 2nd half was questionable again. To their credit they totally denied Avi, Sotos and Funk from driving. Rice had to do better and they exposed that 1-5 switch with Wilson on every possession they could. Don’t know what Rice was even doing in the game other than trying to give Sotos time to regroup (didn’t happen). Our guards got so pushed out to the perimeter again. We have to penetrate today and we have to lose the Bruce and Meeks turn around falling down jumper non sense. Got get better shots |

Colin Gillespie has played 260 minutes over Nova’s last 7 games and has 8 turnovers over that span. That’s the 1st half for our backcourt! We need to get some mental toughness offensively |

No Meeks today, he’s still sick. |

Hard to see a way Bucknell wins this game other than Boston shooting poorly and us shooting above our average. |

We got killed in transition and in the paint at Army. One big reason for them getting killed in the paint was Sotos ending up guarding 6-9 Matt Wilson most times downcourt due to the automatic switching. Those needless switches hurt the defense at all three levels.

Clearly the low water mark of the last 15 years. Pathetic. |

Watching Mahoney owning Newman wasn’t pretty. |

This team has regressed throughout the season. The Seniors have not stepped up their game. The supposed leaders are not leading. The coach is not making adjustments. I can't watch anymore of this game. Time to start playing the Freshman and Sophomores to get ready for next year.

Do you remember two years ago when we suspended three players for violating team rules? Toomer, Moore, and Newman? There’s two of your three senior leaders and Newman who has never played as well as he did as a Freshman. Avi has been the most disappointing for me. So much talent. |

Well on a positive note, kids doing the chicken toss were 3-3. |

Nathan Davis didn’t play but these are the kids he picked to play for him. We had trouble just dribbling and passing the ball. Mahoney just laughed in Newman’s face. Down 26 nobody can go to the hole so we just chuck up more 25+ footers. Inconceivable to me that Sotos could play worse than he did at Army but he obliterated that substrate. We are now actually worse than we were in OOC, which is quite a statement. They start the half on a 9–0 run to put us down 15, we can’t cover numbers 1 through 5 and the coaching staff refuses to try a secondary defense to alter the game flow. |

Great response to my pre-game notice that we needed to be mentally tough offensively. BU got in our crap and we wilted like pussy willows |

Sotos has to be hurt. He doesn’t look like the same player at all. I’m really saddened by the fact the freshmen will think this is Bison basketball. |

I saw my first Bucknell game in 1977 and I have been around basketball for 47 years. The coaching performance that I watched today definitely ranks as the worst or very close to the worst. I am not sure how you can smile as a head coach after being taken to school on your home court by a coach in Joe Jones that is not a great coach by any means. ZERO PASSION BUCKNELL! |

Wanted to apologize (to him and the board) for singling our Sotos with respect to the BU game debacle. Just disappointed and overly emotional because he’s our best all-around player and as he goes...we goes. He’s the linchpin but his skill sets are broad and not of the nature where he can put us on his back for long periods. Having to “do more†all the time is difficult...much easier to let the game come to you. |
