"Now that the stats are final, congrats to Walter Ellis on finishing as the @PatriotLeague leader in 3-point FG percentage (.410)!

Walter is the 4th Bison to lead the PL in this category, joining Dave Steigerwald (94-95), Bryson Johnson (10-11) and Cam Ayers (11-12)."

If Ellis continues at this pace, he could finish in the Top 3 all time PL 3-point percentage leaders.

Can anybody guess the top 3 without looking them up? I'll give you the schools and years:

1. Lafayette 2012-2015
2. Lafayette 2018-2020
3. American 2006-2009

As a bonus, can anybody guess the 2 Bucknell players that are in the Top 20? Again, I'll give you the years:
6. 2010-2013
20. 2003-2006

BOMBS AWAY!

The Bison would be Bryson J and Kevin Bettencourt.

I guess two would be Jaworski From lafayette and three Garrison Carr from American

Pitanski would be one?

Three things to keep in mind:

1. The leaders you show above, which presumably are from Sports-Reference.com, differ from the Patriot League record book because the former site has much a much tougher qualifying standard. To make the Sports-Reference list, you have to have made 200 threes in your career and also made at least two per game. To make the PL list, you only have to have made 100 in your career.

2. Ellis is a long-shot to qualify for the Sports-Reference list, since he has made only 61 in his career (in 60 games). He has a strong chance to qualify for the PL list however - but he has to start shooting better to make their list. For his career, he is 61-163 (.374). To make the PL top 15, you have to have hit .407.

3. Cam Ayers hit 41.2% (201-488) for his career, which puts him #10 on the PL list. But he didn't make enough threes per game to qualify for the Sports-Reference.com list. If he had enough makes to qualify, his 41.2% would be #3 on their list.
