My first job out of undergrad was as a media planner on several liquor accounts. I used to buy space in Black Enterprise, and dealt directly with Earl himself. He was a hoot. Always asked about my parents, siblings and girlfriend. He told me repeatedly to marry her before she divined my true nature. |
