It could have easily been a bad fit for Molloy. He certainly did a lot over the previous summer to merit the rankings he received. I'm not betting against a resurgence at Hotchkiss. Just saying that, at present, he isn't as highly regarded as he was at his peak. Also important to note... 2021 is going to be a WEIRD year for recruiting. Potentially no AAU to evaluate, potentially limited testing, potentially less ability to recruit the entire nation, potentially no visits (at least in the fall). With all of that context, it's a good, no downside, pickup that could have big upside. But the notion that he's the immediate centerpiece of the class, as you mentioned, doesn't mesh with what I've heard. |
