adding to Stanford dropping 11 sports teams, Dartmouth is dropping men's and women's swimmng and diving, men's and womens's golf, and men's lightweight rowing, is this the sign of things to come? |

Stanford dropping volleyball is mind numbing in my view as they have always been one of the nations strongest teams. If they have on campus classes, there really is nothing they can do about the spread. The parties alone are not socially distant. It would be unstoppable. Statistically, even the false positives and the contact tracing and isolation would cripple the campus within weeks not to mention if even one person had it, which they will. Its an all or nothing deal. |
