Bascoe is a 5-11 PG from a suburb of Toronto who attends Vermont Academy. Had offers from UMBC and Dartmouth. Ranked 19th in New England for the Class of 2021 by NERR.

Opponents include Brewster Academy ( who had six or seven seniors go to P6 schools this year), Northfield Mt. Hermon, New Hampton, and St. Thomas More.

Bascoe Bucknell Bound ""Bascoe is one of the most skilled players I've ever coached," said Vermont Academy head coach Alex Popp. "His shooting and ball handling are both in the 99th percentile for our level. He also possesses elite decision making in DHO and ballscreens." Bascoe averaged 17.3 points and 4.9 assistants over the course of his last 12 NEPSAC games of his junior season including an 18 point, 7 assist, 5 rebound, 3 assist, and 0 turnover performance against New Hampton in the AAA tournament."

Bascoe just transferred to Putnam Science Academy in rural CT. It is one of the top few prep programs in the nation. His coach at the Vermont Academy had recently stepped down, and it appears that they are not going to play this year. Putnam has not played many games but at least they apparently are going to have some kind of season. Also the talent level is so high that he will be facing elite competition every single minute. Here are some of the players in Putnam’s class of 2021, along with their future college: Bensley Joseph - Miami Elijah Hutchins Everett - Penn State Sean Durugordon - Missouri Zay Folkes - Charlotte Nick Louis-Jacques - Colgate Alexis Reyes - East Carolina Mohamed Sanogo - FIU Joshua Bascoe - Bucknell Nana Owusu-Anane-Anane - Brown Boris Mitkin (Russia) - has D1 offers Flavien Geoffroy (France) - has D1 offers And the program has many underclassmen of the same abilities.
