Johnson Willman Sestina Agree with your assessment. Last few picks are really close. My personal list has your top 7 plus Willman, Johnson and Shazier, in that order. Kind of like the slight of Sotos given the transfer. No legitimate quantitative explanation for him being off the list. They went really deep so there are at least a dozen players even if you are being generous who they gave a spot on that list over Jimmy. For reference he'd be #3 on the list in assists and #11 in pts per game by my quick review. |

Yes, I noticed that about Sotos. One could argue that he is the best player not in the top 12. And he is certainly one of the top 16 or so.

I went with 137’s top 7 and added Shazier, Cohen and Willman. My final vote was between Cohen and Johnson, but Cohen just did more overall, in my opinion. |

Agree on Cohen....remember his defensive skills especially. Also agree on Willman, perhaps the most underrated player of the decade because he played in the shadow of Muscala. Joe actually made Mike so much better as he was both an unselfish player and smart. The greatest play ever was his inbound pass to Mike at the end of the Richmond game which became the game winner! |

As a 2012 graduate, my bias for players during my four years at Bucknell may be showing, but here's my list: Muscala Willman Johnson Shazier Hass Cohen Foulland Thomas Brown Sestina Had the toughest time choosing between Mackenzie/Sestina and Hass/Ayers. |

This was a lot of fun. Tons of memories!!! In alphabetical order: Cameron Ayers Stephen Brown Nana Foulland Chris Hass (His performances at 'Nova and NC State were two of my all time favorites. I was lucky to see both in person.) Kimbal Mackenzie Mike Muscala Nate Sestina Darryl Shazier Zach Thomas Joe Willman Sestina was the last one on my list. He could have been top 5 if not for injuries. He definitely has the skills. It will be interesting to see if he ever makes it in the NBA. Just off of the list: 1. Bryson Johnson 2. Bryan Cohen 3. GW Boon

It was fun to think back on so many great players. As much talent as Sestina has, I looked at this as who had the best individual and team careers. For a career, I’m not sure how you leave off Cohen. |

I was always a big Bryan Cohen fan. I think he was underrated by many because he was not a very good shooter. However you can make a case that he was the best Bison defender ever. Also the best Patriot League defender ever other than centers. Four Cohen facts: 1. He is the only player ever to win the Patriot League defensive player of the year award three times. 2. He still ranks number 10 on the all-time Bucknell assists leader board. He is the only non-point guard in the top 10. 3. He is number two all time in terms of number of games started in a career. Only Nana Foulland started more. 4. He is fourth for points scored by a freshman, trailing only Purnell, Barry, and Leslie. The five immediately behind him on the list are Foulland, McNaughton, Bettencourt, Bright, and Muscala. Not a bad group.

I put the list of 7 sure things above plus Willman, Shazier and Cohen. If we were putting this 10 man group as a team on the floor, I would be tempted to add Bryson as he has a skill the others really do not duplicate. But not considering that I think he falls just short for me.

I had Cohen on my original 10 man list and bumped him for Sestina. If I looked purely at his body of work during his time at Bucknell, I could pretty easily be convinced to add him to my list. BUT who would I bump? Maybe Sestina. I don't know.

This was tough. I had to include Johnson and Willman. Nobody asked, but here is my women's all-decade team. Claire DeBoer Kaitlyn Slagus Ellie Mack Shelby Romine Audrey Dotson Jacquie Klotz Kate Walker Kyi English Abby Kapp Sune Swart It may seem strange to include Klotz since she only played 2 years, but she put up some amazing numbers. She would have been a top 3, maybe #1 had she not given up the sport. Honorable mention to Megan McGurk, who would have been an easy pick had she not torn her achilles junior year. |

Looks good to me. Depending on the parameters for an all-decade team, the only change I might think about would be to substitute Highham or Novacek for Swart. But those two only played one year in this decade. Completely agree on Klotz. She accomplished more in two years than almost anyone else accomplishes in four years. Had she played and stayed healthy, it’s safe to assume she would’ve been regarded as the second best Bucknell women’s player in at least the last 20 years. In fact, I think she might have ended up being regarded as the third best patriot league player ever. If at some point they have a ballot for this, I wonder if they will give Klotz the Jimmy Sotos treatment and leave her off the ballot. Hopefully not, since she was so good and also because she never played for anyone else.
