Since they included the Class of '11, I went with Novacek over Swart. Could have just as easily picked Higham or Horbatuck.

Glad to see they included Klotz.

Unfortunately some unknowledgeable voters, or some who just wanted to make the whole process look silly, voted in a few choices that make little sense.

1st Team:

DeBoer
K English
E Mack
K Slagus
R Voss

2nd Team:

A Dotson
R Dumiak
A Kapp
S Romine
K Walker

3rd Team:

T Brugler
L Horbatuck
J Klotz
M McGurk
S Swart

- Kyi English should be 2nd or 3rd team, not 1st
- Rachel Voss, who never made any level of All-PL, doesn’t belong
- Rachel Umiak was never more than a role player off the bench. Good attitude but not someone who belongs on this team
- Tessa Brugler very borderline, being a one-year starter. Not as good to date as Higham or Novacek, If Tessa has another good year she can earn a spot
- Shelby Romine clearly a 1st teamer
- Jacque Klotz clearly a 1st teamer. Did more in two years than almost any of the above did in four. Only one Bison ever had a better first two years than her.

I thought the same thing. Somebody did some ballot box stuffing. I could see Klotz on the 2nd team for only having played 2 years, but the others you noted make no sense. Maybe they got Rachel mixed up with her sister (who played at American). How do you leave Romine off the 1st team?

Kate Walker, Shelby Romine and Jacqui Klotz all should have been first team, although who should come off besides Rachel Voss is tough. Cosima Higham and Joyce Novacek should have been in the top 15, no question, and Rachel V and Rachel D should not.

The jury is out on the current players Abby Kapp and Tessa Brugler but them being in the top 15 is not unreasonable.
