Jimmy Sotos received approval today to compete for Ohio State this season,,,, one of their returning Guards is out for the season, so this comes as good news for the Buckeyes, Wishing Jimmy good luck as he takes his game to Big Ten play. |

Not a very impressive beginning for Jimmy. In a 94-67 win over Illinois State, Jimmy played 10 minutes, was 0-1 shooting, had a rebound, two assists and five fouls. Not sure what he’s asked to do defensively, but five fouls in ten minutes is pretty rough. Hopefully things get better for him. |

I watched a little bit of the game just to see Jimmy play. He came off the bench in the game. I agree Phillie he looked rough. Big ten play will be harder most games than this game was for him. Hopefully he figures it out. |

Due to an Ohio state injury, Sotos got the start today. He has six points at the first media time out.

It appeared Jimmy suffered a significant shoulder injury in the second half. Similar to what happened at American two years ago. |

The broadcast tonight said Holtmann described the injury as “significant†but gave no other details. |
