Rosie Scognamiglio '23, a 5-11 wing from the NJ Shore who has just started her junior year, committed to the Bison over the weekend. The Jersey Shore area has some very good girls teams and has produced dozens of very good players. Against good competition, Scognamiglio averaged 11.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.7 apg, and 2.3 spg as a sophomore. A few video highlights from one game during her sophomore AAU season: https://twitter.com/rosiescogs5/status/13 785082393... She doesn't list scholarship offers on her twitter account, although I know she had some. Btw, I believe this is the earliest commitment ever to a Bison basketball team. Maybe the earliest for any sport. https://twitter.com/rosiescogs5/status/14 392674259...

Rosie is from the same conference/area as Joe Willman. I'm not there anymore, but, can vouch the girls basketball is extremely strong. She plays for St. Rose, a traditional girls powerhouse program. Hopefully we'll have the same luck as last time!!! Welcome Rosie. Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ |
