Dartmouth down by one at the half. I think both teams are shooting like ****.

Dartmouth's lack of offensive rebounds is a major concern.

Both teams shot better in OT.

Fortunately, Dartmouth got one more basket. We win!

Plenty of room for improvement, though. I think Bryant went through a five-minute stretch when they were 0-12 from the field. Can't count that happening often.

Holy Hell. Rai off a great feed from Cornish tips it home with less than a second left and Dartmouth wins a game that it had no business winning. 63-61 in overtime.

The Green got creamed on the glass (53-33) and their shooting was atrocious (Barry 5-18, Rai 3-12). That is not usually a winning combination. And yet....

Some encouraging signs:

Dartmouth's opportunistic defense. Barry had SIX steals. Cornish had four more. They do a nice job closing down passing lanes.

Cornish. The freshman came up very big for the second time. When no one could hit a shot, he buried a looooong three and drove to the hoop aggressively to keep Dartmouth in the game.

Coach McLaughlin. Drew up a great out of bounds play at the end of regulation to free up Barry for a game tying three pointer. Recognized the team needed Krystowiak's offense more than Ogbu's defense. And gave Cornish big minutes.

This team will win some league games. But they'll need to get more from their bigs to qualify for their first ever league tournament.

One should never apologize for winning ugly on the road. Especially against a team that beat a conference foe two days earlier.

That said, I do acknowledge that we need better efforts if we're going to compete for the Ivy League tournament.
