He obviously had other interests, but I wonder if the current state of Bucknell basketball and the recent tough times under Davis helped make this decision for Meehan? You make a good point. I’d be surprised if the current state of Bucknell basketball didn’t have a significant impact on his decision. It is also possible that he has been looking around for another coaching job and was unsuccessful, at least partly because he has been linked to Nathan Davis for a decade, and has never coached under anyone else.
