Big 50-44 win for the women at CU to move ahead of the Raiders in the PL standings. On a day when they frankly were not shooting well they found a way to win, mostly due to a stifling defense which held CU to 44 points. Fifth in a row for the ladies who are peaking at the right time. |

It was an ugly game, the officiating in particular, but a big W. Thank goodness we have Collins back. This puts them 5th place one game behind Army and Lehigh (assuming they beat Loyola tonight). We could have gotten some help from Navy today, but they blew a 9 point lead in the 4th Q to lose to Army on a last second layup. Bison head to American for another tough road game on Wednesday. AU is 5-8 in the PL, but knocked off 2nd place HC in OT on the road today. The next game will not be a cakewalk. |
