Does Tucker Richardson attend classes on campus or is he enrolled in Remote learning and living off campus? Asking for a friend? |

The bigger question is when is the Bucknell administration and Athletic Dept going to wake up and level the playing field in terms of 5th year players?? I just looked at Colgate’s roster and Richardson in particular. He is listed as a Senior but is in his 5th year and has already played an amazing 146 games for the Raiders! And counting. How would we look with Andrew Funk on the wing this year? Level the playing field ! |

I fully agree with leveling the playing field, but unfortunately it would be very difficult to get any Bucknell athletes to come back for a fifth year as things stand now. Colgate players come back because the team is very good and they have a very good coach. But Bucknell players don’t have those reasons. I think it’s very doubtful Andrew Funk would’ve come back for a fifth year to play for ND as opposed to getting an MBA at PSU. The one thing that could be a game changer is the proposed Bucknell MBA program, which would give them a degree that lots of athletes would want to get. Hopefully that will become a reality within a couple of years. Note that Boston University, Lehigh, American, and Loyola all have extensive graduate programs that permit them to hold onto athletes who have a year of eligibility left when they graduate.
