Anyone else thinking tomorrow’s game at Columbia could decide the final tournament slot? |

Tommy clearly was. He pulled Mack and Okpara for a lonnnnng time around the 13 minute mark, and didn’t bring them back until we’d completely lost touch with Cornell. Then pulled Mack for the final 3 plus minutes. |

Smart coaching. Assumed he’d have to do that. |

Great to get that win… Columbia didn’t have an answer for Ajogbor and Okpara inside. How are you all handicapping Harvard’s chances to make the ILT now? |

Beat Brown in two weeks and they're pretty much in - at least two weird things would have to happen to be knocked out in that scenario. Lose to Brown and they're still in good shape if Columbia beats Brown next week, in trouble if Brown wins that game though. |

With the health of Ajogbor, Harvard’s a different team on defense. Tyler Simon grabbing some of Wojciks minutes has made a difference on defense as well. Columbia’s De La Cruz scored only 13 points in the 2 games against Harvard and Ajogbor blocked 6 shots on Saturday. Harvard clearly won that game at the rim. Amaker’s Crimson teams have always won with defense. This is a welcomed development. Hopefully, this will help @ Brown and bs Penn on Saturday. Princeton’s spread offense is a different scheme that Ajogbor is less suited for. |

Mack averaged 17pt/5asst/3rb and not even co-rookie of the week? Recipient averaged 12.5/6rbs. Weak game vs Cornell, but he led us over Columbia. |

After the disappointing 2 point loss at home to Brown in our second game, the team has done what it has to to get back into the fight for 4th, especially by sweeping Columbia and beating a (shorthanded) Penn on the road. A split this weekend is very important. We can’t give back that victory at Penn AND lose at Brown. That would likely cascade us to a 5-9 finish with a tiebreaker over Columbia but not Brown. Assuming no competing team upends a member of the top tier, beating either of the P’s sets us at 5-6, either tied with Columbia or a game ahead of both Columbia and Brown entering the final 3 games. The outcome of Columbia vs Brown this weekend, however, should inform as to which of those teams we are contesting for the final slot. By the way, top 3 are now 19-0 vs the others. |
