Say what you will about this edition of Brown basketball - and there are a lot of things you could say - but the Bears are pulling things together at the perfect time.

Kimo Ferrari had a career game, Aaron Cooley made a couple of key plays down the stretch, Kino made some clutch 3s and Bruno hangs on to knock off a Columbia team that beat us pretty convincingly at the Pizz two weeks ago.

I'm not holding my breath for a repeat performance in Ithaca tonight, but this team has surprised me before.

The bigger picture is that we're two home wins and some chalk away from a first berth in Ivy Madness.

That they got the win is what matters most, on the road in one they had to have. So that’s great.

The Ndur dunk was a highlight of the season. Let that be a top 10.

It doesn’t happen if Ferrari doesn’t catch fire. You need luck winning on the road and the timing of his shooting could not have been better. You don’t win on the road with 18 turnovers without something equally unusual to offset it.

The D and the O both abandoned them from minute 10 to minute 4 but they had just enough and then it was Kino.

I think the only reason to keep Erold in the starting lineup is to allow Kino to come off the bench. I could say the same for Anya, who is allergic to making shots, whether point blank layups or free throws. The rest of his game was difference making and truly impressive, but make a shot.

We’ve been here before. See if they can get it done this time.

Oh and Cooley a revelation off the bench. Fewer minutes as a change of pace is working for this team. People don’t expect his offensive rebounding (4!) and that block was huge.

If you guys could help with Harvard that would be great.

Anya put together one of the best Brown big man performances in a decade. I don’t know where that’s been but we will take it.

Lilly shot 3-17 and Brown won on the road. Cornell missed a fair number of open shots but Brown’s defense was still good.

Your Ivy League Player of the Week will be Kimo Ferrari.

Cornell did a pretty good job on Lily but Anya and Nana were outstanding. It would’ve not been close. Had we made a few free throws

Top 3 are now 22-1 against the rest. I’ve stayed from the start that a win like this could earn the Victor the 4th slot.

Harvard looks fatigued against Penn in the second half and has lost its 15 point lead

17 offensive rebounds for a whopping 19 2nd chance points. They took six more shots and nine more free throws.

Fun fact: From the start of the season through February 15th, Kimo Ferrari made 15 3PTs. In the past four games, he's made 13 and is shooting 62% from deep.

Senior leadership when we needed it most.

The last time Cornell gave up 17 offensive rebounds, was at Yale. Didn't win that one either.

Congrats to Brown, my guys had no answer for Anya. The better team on Saturday won.

I was concerned that Princeton had such a tough time with Brown at home 10 days ago. Now it makes sense. Hope my Tigers don’t have to play Bruno in NYC.
