It’s good for Julien that he has remained relatively healthy. His first NFL contract was for four years, with the majority of the salary coming in year four (2020), if he made it that far. Thus he is making more than $2.1 million this season. He is now backing up Austin Jackson, a rookie left tackle from Southern Cal who was the Dolphins’ first round draft pick this year.
Abdullah is currently paid about $142,000 - the standard for practice squad players. It rises to $610,000,if he gets moved up to the regular roster.
