Thanks internetter- I just watched Columbia defeat Princeton 92-74 for the 1968 Ivy League Basketball Championship. The great Jim McMillan led the Lions in scoring with 36 points. Roger Walezek was outstanding with twenty points, and Heyward Dotson had nineteen. Columbia's 7'0" center, Dave Newmark had a big second half. The game was played at St. Johns before a capacity crowd of over 6,000.00. Princeton had two super players in John Hummer and Geoff Petrie. The two best coaches In Ivy League History were on the sidelines--Columbia's Jack Rohan and Prineton's Pete Carill. This is a must watch for Columbia Basketball Fans.
