As to the playing time thing, Colgate has only won a couple games. Maybe it was just about giving the non-starters more court time.
That definitely wasn't it. They were benched in the middle of the first quarter of a close game. He yanked Krsul 40 seconds after she entered, and he didn't play O'Brien for 15 straight minutes in a close game. Neither was in any foul trouble. There was more to it than that.
I'm all for giving playing time to the subs - but not early in a close game that could be losable. Both played most of the second half btw.
