Maybe I’m stating the obvious, but my view is that recruiting (talent) establishes a team’s ceiling. Coaching then determines how close to that ceiling they get. If we want a high ceiling, and I think we do, I’d like to know who all the D1 assistants we’re considering (John included) have personally recruited.
