I attended the game. Almost 1000 fans there, which was surprising given students are on break. The 19-0 Cornell run to start the game pointed toward a rout, but Cornell cooled off and Colgate found its footing. Colgate had two possessions down 40-37, but came up empty both times. The Big Red then went on a run and put the game safely out of reach.

Pretty typical Cornell performance, with the points spread around. Mannon was his usual self-some spectacular moments mixed with some turnovers. Ragland and Hanson both had effective games on offense and did a nice job holding Keegan Records in check. Naz Williams had a second consecutive strong game, and Isiah Gray was particularly good during Cornell’s initial run.

So, the Big Red goes to 10-2 for the first time since the 1964-65 season. Tuesday Cornell is the first opponent for Baylor in the Bears brand new arena, which will be a tall order.
