With Yale, it could be the old kick-in-the-butt theory to shake up the starters. I remember Rollie Massimino did something similar in Villanova's last regular-season game in 1985, benching all his regulars in the middle of a blowout by Pitt if I recall properly.
Regarding today, I agree that the listed spread for the Columbia-Darmouth game (12-1/2 in my paper) is too big. I think it will be fairly close all game, and while Columbia will pull it out in the end, it should stay within single digits. Let's say Columbia 67, Dartmouth 59.
Cornell will duplicate last year's early-season success and have an easy time against Harvard. Call it 72-51. Yale will play Princeton tough, but I just can't see the Tigers getting swept at home. Princeton 49, Yale 48. And Penn will hang in there against an energized Bear squad to win 66-61.
