On a separate note, Albany lost to Lehigh by 4 and Manhattan by 6. They did however manage to beat Canisius by 26! Tough to play that game.
If by "that game" you mean the "transitive law game", I don't think that was 137's intent, though we've all seen that game played in both jest and, unfortunately, in dead earnest.
My favorite one was from decades ago that argued (in jest) that Gannon was the true national champion. It started with the fact that Gannon had beaten Niagara, went through five or six intermediate steps and ended with the fact that Notre Dame had beaten UCLA, which of course had won the NCAA tournament (again).
It used to require more effort to come up with these sorts of things pre-internet.
