Just a quick note to add to this. Many schools are considering pushing back the start of 2nd semester to Feb 1, 2020. (no real inside information on the start date, just something I have heard suggested) This would give the team more than 2 months of time on campus with no classes or extra students to increase the risk of infections.
Speaking of Covid, so far things have gone well on the Bucknell campus. There have been 11 cases found out of 15,600 tests that have been conducted. That is an infection rate of 0.07%.
They are sticking to the planned schedule of testing every student at least once every 10 days, and faculty/staff about every 14 days. Everyone also had to pass two tests in the run-up to their return to campus. At present, only five students are in quarantine.
Hopefully this sort of infection rate will continue, but there is always a possibility of an outbreak.
