So, is he being paid the league minimum, which is over $800k, while in camp? Also, if he ends up in the G-League, does he have the option of going to Europe instead?
1. Definitely not getting a league minimum. Players on his kind of deal receive a negotiated amount for training camp that I think can range from $0 to $50,000 - plus room and board.
2. He is under no obligation to report to the G League if he has a normal contract. However if he does, he may receive a bonus.
