That night, my wife made plans to go out to dinner with friends without telling me. Of course, I "felt sick" and had to stay home. Since then, the lovely Mrs. Bison89 has learned that she is a basketball widow during The Dance. She is going to a poetry reading with her friend tonight. Win-win situation for both of us.
I am so glad that I "felt sick" 16 years ago.
