Bison got two late commitments today:
1. Rushawn Baker, a 5-11 225 lb RB from Victor NY, south of Rochester. Very strong and very fast. Ran a 10.95 100 meters as a junior. Could be a nice find, as he only played five games as a junior due to a serious high ankle sprain and then played no games this year due to a covid shutdown. Combining his soph and junior years, he carried 173 times for 1252 yards (7.2 ypc) and 20 TD's. Had offers from Fordham, St. Francis, Bryant, and Sacred Heart. . . .
Bison signee Rushawn Baker ran for 303 yards and 3 TD's on 14 carries - all in the first half - in an easy win over a 5-1 team in States today. NY football is not the strongest, but he looks like he could be good. 5-11, 225 lbs, and very good speed. For the season, he is averaging 10.8 yards per carry for an undefeated team.
