Who’s going to want to transfer to Bucknell that would academically qualify?
It's actually easier to fit under the PL academic index as a transfer than it is as an incoming freshman IF you have been in college 1.5 years. That is because the only PL academic hurdle at that point is having a good college GPA. Your HS GPA, class rank, and SAT score are no longer in play. So a potential transfer with a 3.2 GPA in playground recreation from Eastern Kentucky or in criminal justice from Iona would be OK by PL standards. But the remaining issue, of course, is whether Bucknell Admissions is OK with it. That hurdle is higher at some PL schools than at others.
A bigger question, however, is what good basketball player is going to want to transfer into this program.
