After a long holiday break (made longer thanks to Howard's COVID problems), Yale takes on its second team with the Gaels as their mascot in three games.
Saint Mary's is yet another big and long team, and their defense denies the three really well, so this is shaping up to be another tough match-up for the Bulldogs.
I saw in Yale Athletics' game write-up that according to the NCAA, Yale has played the 95th toughest schedule in the country, and that the second-toughest schedule in the Ivy belongs to Brown at 165th. Honestly, I think this explains a lot about Yale's early struggles - it's tough for a young team to go through the wringer like Yale has had to do. Hopefully it pays off for them in league play.
