Yes, Happy New Year & Happy Opening Day!!
2 of 4 MBB & 4 of 4 WBB set to begin in a few hours. Not the ideal number, but better than many other leagues (the WCC canceled all its men’s & women’s games this weekend).
I feel confident the season will end up with all games being played, even if the schedule gets changed in ways that people feel are less than fair.
Without a dominant team in the men’s group, each game is going to be important for the Ivy Tournament. I agreed with your thoughts on today’s games.
The women have a lot of good teams and a few rebuilding ones. Big games today with Harvard at Princeton & Yale at Columbia.
Princeton’s D has to shut down Harvard’s PG & the team’s 3 pointers, if they want to start off with a W. Columbia & Yale have contrasting styles. If it’s a track meet, Columbia should be favored.
