In response to Go Green
Finally got around watching last Saturday's Harvard/Penn game. Both teams blew chances to win the game before Harvard prevailed in OT#3. Easily could have gone the other way.
Penn's freshman RB Hosley is incredibly explosive and should be a weapon for years to come. Overall, the Crimson outgained Penn on the ground 178 yards, to 114 yards, but on far more rushes (49 vs 27).
Seems that Harvard schemed to neutralize Penn's WR Richardson - and effectively did so - holding him to only 2 receptions. Penn, on the other hand, seems to have planned to stuff Harvard's run game, forcing the inexperienced QB Jaden Craig to throw. Well, Craig responded with a 23 of 36 day for 253 yards, all easily career highs. Overall, the stats reflect the tight contest we saw.
