In response to Chip Bayers
Calipari was no dummy. As soon as they went up double digits late, he had his guys slow things down and crank up the D, clogging all the passing lanes. Turnovers ensued.
I hope all the Spinoso noise subsides, he was really good today (ok, may be not at the line.) All 3 guards were solid offensively, Smith did his thing and Holland got minutes too.
In the end, depth and athleticism were the difference. Personally, I thought it was a good showing.
PS: Announcers noted Penn had 4 lefties starting. Spinoso, Slajchert, Smith, Perkins? I had never noticed that before.
