Or did it? We were told it was safe for gatherings of up to 10 people, but the virus apparently knew when that 11th person showed up. And the games could have been played during the day, since apparently the virus was most dangerous at night. Isn't that why businesses had to close by 5:30?

While I understand how deadly Covid was back in 2020, before we were prepared to treat it, the leagues and teams had precautions in place for the 2021 season. And as UPIA1968 mentioned, I also read of no deaths among the college basketball programs which played that season.
