You beat me to it. This has been going on for a while in the IL, but it seems as though policies only change when H-Y-P (in that order) decide that they need to institute something.
Watch when this happens to Princeton--and it will (and if doesn't, that is a major reflection on the skewed socioeconomic characteristics of its pool). They'll feel like it's the end of the world.
Well, if that vaunted Harvard degree isn't worth giving up the money, expect every school to be affected.
