Gianni Cobb
His year was marked by last second buckets in big games; a conference and state championship; a move from 22 to 12 in Prep Hoops Illinois rankings as well as becoming their #1 ranked PG, Sun Times Break Out POY, Daily Southtown POY and, finishing third in Illinois Mr. Basketball voting. He was 1st team All State.
Gerard O’Keefe
After years of playing for various IMG teams in Florida, this year Gerard played on the top IMG post-grad team. The guys on this team are going to Florida, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Houston or have offers from Kentucky, Auburn, Michigan and Maryland. So he did not play big minutes. But in conference he was 7th on the team in minutes, shot .50 from 3, and played in some meaningful stretches. He was also named IMG Academy Class of 2024 Valedictorian.
Josiah Cunningham
Averaged 16.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the 5A state runner-up. He was first team all-conference, all Southern Nevada (equivalent of all state I believe). Players on his AAU team, Vegas Elite, are going to Ohio State, San Diego State, USC, etc. He finished the year ranked #6 in his class by Prep Hoops Nevada and was their #2 ranked off-guard (although he plays PG as well, and guards 1-3).
Nigel Clarkson
Nigel just finished a post-grad year at Hargrave Academy. The team also has several DI commits. He finished the year with 10.1 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 1.4 APG, 1.6 SPG. Since he has been the least visible of the recruits this year, here are his season highlights: https://twitter.com/HargravePGHoops/statu s/1772002...
Mason Ritter
Averaged 14.7/9 this year. Region POY, Lexington Herald Leader and Courier Journal Second Team All State (all divisions), Horseshoe Bay Beacon POY, Selected to Play in Kentucky-Ohio All-Star Game for 4/20/2024. At years end Prep Hoops Kentucky ranked him the #11 senior and as their #2 Center.
