Marc Lore '93 just sold his Jet.com site to Wal-Mart for about $3.3 Billion. He will stay on as CEO and also take over as the head of Walmart.com. He stands to make about $1 Billion out of the deal. He sold his earlier start-up company to Amazon for $550 Million a couple of years ago.
The Bucknell Hall of Lore? When he is ready to become a generous benefactor of Bucknell, the Building could be renamed in his honor. It is home to the Stadler Center of Poetry and also a recital hall, so the name would fit. I don't know what his major was though. Probably economics. I'm still saving for my building, its going to be a while.

The new $50 Million building currently being constructed for the Freeman College of Management is being funded by an anonymous donor who pledged $26 Million. That 80,000 square foot building is scheduled to be completed by the end of spring. At that time, the donor will reportedly be named and the building named after that person. One might speculate that Lore is involved.
