“Former Bison Stephen Brown '18 is on the move again. After averaging better than 17 ppg in Latvia, Stephen has signed with Ural Ekaterinburg in Russia.”

Ekaterinburg is in the middle of BF Nowhere! BTW, it is currently -10°F.

I do not know a whole lot about European basketball. Is this a more competitive and higher paying league?

Nana Foulland with a big playoff game:

Answering Bison89's question from above, the Romanian league is significantly weaker than Israel. Nana's team in Israel was going nowhere and probably had a chance to make some money by dealing him to a contender in another country.

As for the pay, my guess would be that Nana's Israeli team sold his contract to his current team and the pay continued to be the same. But that is just a guess.

Looking good! Big stadiums with very few people. Is this the norm? If so, how do the teams make money?

A lot of them don't make money. It is common for them to be owned by corporations or wealthy industrialists for whom it is more like a hobby - and maybe a tax write-off. However if business is not going so well, there is always a danger of the checks bouncing with a certain number of teams. That is one job of an agent, i.e. to find you a team where you are certain to get paid for the whole year.

That doesn't look like the same Nana! Quick up and down the court, lean, strong, and better hands!

Congrats to Nana. He must be excited to play with Cam in Poland. At the very least, he is getting to see a lot of Europe. What a great opportunity.

As my mother would say, "Bardzo dobrze!" (Very good!)

Looks like Kimbal had the game winning three in his game yesterday. We've seen this movie before.

Feel like this team could be a great opportunity for Nana to excel and possibly make a jump to a better league at the middle or end of this season or next. Or maybe he'll like Poland
