Vermont won at St. John's today on a late FG by Anthony Lamb. Lamb ended with 23 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Also VCU beat Lehigh 79-53. Was fairly close at the half but then VCU quickly ran away with it.

Up in VT...flew from JFK to Burlington and almost took a charge on Lamb, He’s not a dot over 6’5.5â€. They were heading out on my return flight yesterday at 2. Think the crew on NYIT that 137 referred did UVM @ Carnesecca Gym. Don’t know the names so no interest in accessing the box score

Your surmise is correct. It was exactly the same crew - a very good one - as the one who did Hofstra-NYIT.

Dane Fischer has W&M playing surprisingly well early in the season. The Tribe won its first four games and nearly beat Oklahoma in Norman last night. OU isn't supposed to any great shakes this year, but W&M was picked to finish towards the bottom of the CAA. Nate Knight is one hell of a player.

Yes, they are playing really well. They had three of their top four players transfer out, and also had their top recruit decommit, after Tony Shaver was fired. Dane thus far looks to be doing a great job.

137, who's the 3rd? Pierce and Milon left but Loewe decided to stay. Am I missing someone?

Never mind, just noticed Chase Audige transferred to Northwestern. Didn't realize that.

On a separate note, Albany lost to Lehigh by 4 and Manhattan by 6. They did however manage to beat Canisius by 26! Tough to play that game. To safeguard all poster’s sanity I’ll put myself back on another self imposed 5 day “black-out period†re: Canisius.

If by "that game" you mean the "transitive law game", I don't think that was 137's intent, though we've all seen that game played in both jest and, unfortunately, in dead earnest.
My favorite one was from decades ago that argued (in jest) that Gannon was the true national champion. It started with the fact that Gannon had beaten Niagara, went through five or six intermediate steps and ended with the fact that Notre Dame had beaten UCLA, which of course had won the NCAA tournament (again).
It used to require more effort to come up with these sorts of things pre-internet.

Res, you’re correct and I didn’t interpret 137’s informational post in that vein. Yes, if Hofstra beat UCLA and we beat Hofstra then happy days...looks a better W for the Bison. Just pointing out if we go the other way we could potentially lose to a bad D3. More importantly, Canisius bothers me in countless ways.
I love 137...he saves me so much time. I’m just dying to know what his real job is! I’m surmising he’s retired and if you tell me otherwise can you broker a loan. What’s a little change extended on behalf of a fellow Bison?

if anyone ever tries to suggest that Kentucky last year was better than the bison, here's all you have to show them:
on 02/09/19 Bucknell beat Bo ston Univ 82-76
on 11/06/18 Boston Univ beat Northeastern 77 -74
on 11/15/18 Northeastern bea t Alabama 68-52
on 01/05/19 Alabama beat Ken tucky 77-75
Bucknell > Boston Univ > Northeastern > Alabama > Kentucky
Therefore, Bucknell is better than Kentucky in 4 rounds by a combined score of 304-277.

Bucknell might just beat KU this year based on Utah State and Evansville...I just wouldn’t bet the house on it.

What is 137's real job, and who is 137? The international man (or woman) of mystery!
