So that means we ONLY have to beat Seton Hall and likely MSU to get to the Sweet 16. I think an 11 or 12 seed offers an easier path to weekend #2.

I think a 7 or 10 is much better than an 8 or 9. Usually there is a big drop off from 1 seeds to 2. The only thing that bothers me is that the east is loaded with good teams (UConn, Nova, Duke, Memphis, etc.) Therefore, if Bucknell gets an 7,8,9, or 10 and gets seeded near home in Philly, I can say they can count on Duke, UConn or Nova looming. I really hope to be in Philly (obviously I am jumping the gun...Getting to the tourney is no sure shot), but may rather go to a place like Detroit or Dayton if a more susceptible 1/2 seed like Mich. St or Gonzaga will be looming.

lunardis latest bracketology has us dropping from a 9 to an 11. though i find that seeding to be more realistic... ouch.

You can certainly dream about being a 7, but that's all it is - a dream. I said it before: the only way Bucknell is higher than a 10 is if they run the table through the league tourney, and even then, they'll probably only be a 9.
Of the realistic seeds they could be, I would prefer to be an 11 or 12.
