Sadly Big Al passed away a short time ago. He had been in medical facilities since a recent heart attack. Al was a great guy and a huge asset to the Bison program for many years. He helped out a lot of players over the years. RIP!

My condolences to the family. He was a great guy who never passed you by without saying at least hello. I was around him for over 40 years and witnessed a lot of interaction with the bison teams he was very well liked by the teams and the local community. RIP big AL.

That’s too bad...he seemed like a genuine guy and the biggest Bison fan.
