With the college basketball world shifting to next season now, thought it'd be a good time to create a thread for all of the Ivy transfers this offseason and to keep track of where they end up. Jeff Goodman just updated his list of players in the transfer portal…
Brown:
George Mawanda-Kalema
David Erebor (Grad Transfer)
Columbia:
Jack Forrest
Mike Smith (Grad Transfer)
Patrick Tapé (Grad Transfer)
Jake Killingsworth (Grad Transfer)
Dartmouth:
Brendan Barry (Grad Transfer)
Harvard:
Bryce Aiken (Grad Transfer)
Seth Towns (Grad Transfer)
Penn:
Ryan Betley (Grad Transfer)
Princeton:
Vittorio-Reynoso Avila (Grad Transfer)
Yale's Jordan Bruner is not on the list, although I think he will be as he was mentioned in the ESPN article from earlier this season on grad transfers

For now, Jordan has decided to enter the draft and forego his remaining eligibility, per reports.

Right, but when he likely gets feedback that he won't be drafted or would be drafted in 2nd round, as long as he doesn't hire an agent he could come back to do his grad year right?

Unclear what the Ivy League will do if the NCAA does, indeed, allow seniors to take an extra year. If they allow grads as a one-time exception that likely won't change what the top guys do, but it could change what some of the next rung of quality players do. I highly doubt the Ivy will allow seniors to play as grads for the winter sports, though.

The NCAA seems to be talking about giving everyone whose seasons were lost an extra year--not just seniors.
While I'd agree that it's far from clear that the Ivy will do anything for its athletes, I'd be surprised if they just give relief to seniors. Underclassmen lost their seasons, too.

Jordan Bruner racking up an impressive interest list as well, as 247 is reporting he's heard from Duke, Kansas, Baylor, Maryland, Xavier and Florida State among others
With the # of schools who seems to be showing up on a lot of the Ivy grad transfers interest list (Maryland, Duke, Kansas, among others seem to be interested in a couple), it'd be cool to see guys team up next season

Yup, have been really looking forward to see Bryce and Seth in the sweet 16 ... but didn't expect they'd be playing against each other on behalf of non-Ivy schools.
This whole concept is painful

I mean obviously it sucks they aren't playing in the Ivy next season, but I still enjoy watching these guys play so I'll root for them wherever they go. If I can turn on a Duke game and see Seth Towns and Jordan Bruner on the court as teammates, I think it'd be cool.
I don't like that they're forced to grad transfer, but I still think I'd much rather be in this position than in the position schools in the MAAC/NEC/Patriot are in, where guys have a hot freshman year and then take an up transfer as soon as they can.

He should be. One and dones are a complete embarrassment to Duke’s academic reputation. Bringing in some high character kids who have already graduated from an ivy school is a good idea

It is indeed sad that the way in which we'll learn about the talent the Ivies have had over the past few years is through the insane number of blue bloods (and even an NBA team, lest we forget Oni) lined up to snap up more than a team's worth of our grad transfers...

Or, put the other way, the dearth of (upperclass) talent at the "blue bloods."
