I watched the game in Harrisburg PA at a bar called Zembies. I'll never forget that day.

Mrs. Bison89 wanted me to go to some type of dinner party that night. Since I was not feeling well , I had to stay home and watch the game. My neighbors could probably hear me yelling a block away!

That was one of the first years, if not THE first year that streams of the games were available. The Bucknell game was not telecast in the N.Y. metro area, but the streaming video was my opportunity to see a less than perfectly clear rendition of the game( remember those early streams were somewhat less than HD quality), but I was very happy to get to see any kind of telecast of the game.

One great play that drew little publicity was Chris Niesz's entry pass to McNaughton to set up the winning basket. With time running out and facing a long, athletic group of defenders, that was a tough pass to get it to McNaughton in such great position.
Many will remember that Niesz hit a three at the buzzer to turn defeat into victory vs Colgate in the final regular season game that year. If he had missed that shot, the Bison would likely have fallen in the seedings and probably not faced Kansas.

we were celebrating St Patrick's Day at Le Jeune Chef, Penn College, one of those 7 course , take forever meals, I looked at my watch, looked at my wife, and said, "I don't know about the rest of you, I'm out of here, Bucknell is playing Kansas in less the 30 minutes". I made the tipoff.

That night, my wife made plans to go out to dinner with friends without telling me. Of course, I "felt sick" and had to stay home. Since then, the lovely Mrs. Bison89 has learned that she is a basketball widow during The Dance. She is going to a poetry reading with her friend tonight. Win-win situation for both of us.
I am so glad that I "felt sick" 16 years ago.

Kansas is in trouble against another 14 seed. Down 8 at the half.
